Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities

Guidelines during this uncertain time of COVID-19. Please be safe. Help us keep our grounds open!

Weymouth Center’s grounds are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Although Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities is not a public park, we allow free access to the grounds, when available, for everyone to enjoy. Weymouth Center is a non-profit, charitable organization. Please consider an annual membership or a tax deductible donation for the continued vitality of this community treasure.

Please be conscientious: If you are walking your pet, clean up after them; if you are having a picnic, please carry out what you carried in. Also, confetti, rice, flower petals, etc., are not allowed anywhere on the property.

Thank you.

March 27, 2020: In an effort to lower the spread of COVID-19, NC Governor Roy Cooper signed an Executive Order which states that all North Carolinians voluntarily cooperate and remain in their homes. However, people are encouraged to maintain healthy lifestyles, including outdoor recreational activity. Individuals should maintain social distancing and continue to take protective measures to maintain personal health and wellbeing.

Please click here for more information about this Executive Order from the Governor’s office in Raleigh.

Weymouth Center is owned and operated by the Friends of Weymouth, Inc., a non-profit organization. Please remember Weymouth Center is NOT a public park. We welcome families and walkers during this time and ask that due to COVID-19 everyone be aware of social and physical distancing rules. We are sorry but at this time, we are unable to host any events, no matter how small. Please clean up after your pet! Allow us to keep our grounds open by following these rules.
