The Moore County Writer’s Competition is open for entries!

You’re invited to enter the 2020 Moore County Writer’s Competition! This year is our first themed competition honoring the works of J.K. Rowling. We invite writers of all ages to be inspired by the magic of Rowling’s tremendous legacy. Enter your original, unpublished work that is not currently an entry in any other competitions. The work must be written within the broad realm of the work of J.K. Rowling.

Categories are Poety, Fiction and Nonfiction.

Age Groups are grades 1-4, grades 5-8, grades 9-12, and adult.

Deadline for entries is Friday, February 21, 2020, at 5 p.m.

Winners will be contacted via email and awards will be presented at the Wizards of Weymouth Literature & Literacy Festival on Saturday, March 28, 2020.
