Professional Photographer Membership Policy
Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities (Weymouth) is a beautiful setting for professional photographers. Although Weymouth is open to the public at no charge, it is private property owned by the Friends of Weymouth, Inc. Considering material and labor costs, it is expensive for us to maintain our historic buildings and the beautifully manicured grounds.
Effective October 21, 2019, all professional photographers must register with Weymouth as a Photographer Member. The annual fee is $250.00 and provides unlimited outdoor professional photography sessions provided the photographer first makes a photo session reservation with the Weymouth Front Office. The membership will also allow for two 2-hour indoor photo sessions with a reservation. This policy and membership will provide a level of order for Weymouth Professional Photographer Members.
A professional photographer is defined as someone providing photographic service for any kind of fee, whether cash or in-kind. Additionally, all professional photographers are required to have liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and list Friends of Weymouth, Inc. P.O. Box 939, 555 E. Connecticut Ave., Southern Pines, NC 28388, as an Additional Insured. The Professional Photographer Members must provide the Weymouth Front Office with this certificate prior to inception of any photography sessions.
