Music at Weymouth
Music at Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities is a longstanding tradition.  In the 1920’s and into the 1930’s, James Boyd and his wife Katharine entertained guests such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Thomas Wolfe, and Sherwood Anderson. In the Boyd Library, there is a songbook with spirited lyrics written by James Boyd and friends. Together they imbibed and entertained each other with stories and music.

Weymouth is proud to carry on that tradition today. Whether you're a fan of classical, jazz, swing, rock, country, or any and everything in-between, there's a place for you at Weymouth.

From our monthly musician jam sessions to our annual Young Musicians Festival, we invite you to bring your family and friends and join us.

For more information on musical events at Weymouth Center, join our Music mailing list or contact us either via the website, stop by the James Boyd house, or give us a call at (910) 692-6261.

We look forward to seeing you at Weymouth!
On the last Tuesday of every month, from 6-9PM, bring your instrument of choice and jam out in the Great Room. Musicians, songwriters, & anyone who would like to listen are welcome to attend!
Welcome nationally & internationally renowned classical artists with an emphasis on North Carolinians to Weymouth as part of our Chamber Music Concert Series.
Students in grades 4-12 from across the Sandhills compete annually in front of credentialed adjudicators.
