Nectarines in a basketWeymouth Center welcomes all group tours, whether educational, corporate, or simply recreational.

In particular, we welcome homeschoolers and all educational groups. Our goal is to be not only a cultural resource for the community but to foster a love of history, literature, music, and conservation in future generations. If you or your young writer, artist, or musician are interested, make sure to check out our summer Write-On Camp and our Young Musicians Festival.

For more information about tours or to schedule a community service project for your organization, please call (910) 692-6261 or email our Event Coordinator.

The Boyd House and the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame are open to the public, Monday through Friday (10 AM – 2 PM) and are free of charge.

The Weymouth Gardens are open and free to the public from dawn to dusk, year-round.

The James Boyd House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

For exclusive events or for tours outside of set hours, please inquire.

*Photographers and those interested in photo shoots at Weymouth Center:

We love having our gardens, grounds, and the James Boyd House featured in photos. However, due to our busy schedule of events, we do ask that you call in advance and make an appointment. Our gardens and grounds are maintained by a dedicated staff of volunteers. All donations are greatly appreciated.
