Now the centerpiece of music at Weymouth, the Chamber Music Concerts feature nationally and internationally renowned musicians, with a focus on artists from North Carolina’s musical and educational institutions.
The Chamber Music Concerts, now in their 38th season, were founded by Lena Stewart Brillhart in 1979 and have been an integral part of Weymouth’s programs ever since. Influenced by James and Katharine Boyd, the concerts are one of Weymouth’s finest traditions, inspired by Katharine Lamont Boyd’s love of classical music.
More than 200 of these concerts have been performed since their inception.
In addition, Weymouth sponsors an annual Young Musicians Festival as well as a night of Carols at Weymouth during the Holiday Season.
